STL Partners: CloudOps is an Edge Computing Company to Watch in 2021

Position in edge ecosystem: Edge Cloud Infrastructure, Edge Aggregation and Orchestration 

Notable Achievements in 2020: CloudOps (edge orchestration platform provider) developed a SaaS version of CloudMC to enable telcos to assemble, deliver and monetize their portfolio of edge-to-cloud services more easily; integrated leading edge SPs into CloudMC (including StackPath); worked with the Montreal Heart Institute (MHI) to use the CloudMC platform to deliver a private edge deployment, enabling them to securely and ethically process an array of clinical, administrative, research and genotyping data to improve the delivery of healthcare services; and finally, was named one of the Financial Times’ Fastest Growing Companies in America.

Ambitions for 2021: Has several deployments in the pipeline within the telecoms space, with partnerships to roll-out MEC and various B2B edge services. It is looking to expand into Latin America and Europe, with trials already underway with a handful of SPs to offer B2B cloud services, as well as MEC pilots.
